White Heron Study Group - September

The first meetings of the White Heron Martial Arts Study Group were a great success! Great fun! We worked through many concepts with significant ground covered in a very short time. Tremendous learning. Over three evenings, we covered:

• Bo Staff - A futari two-person bo kata
• Standing seizing / joint locks: Kake Drills / Sticky hands - Flow drills #11 - #21
• Ground Fighting - Basic movements, Takedowns, and Side-control focus

It was a whirlwind of study! Thank-you to everyone who came out!

The next sessions will take place at the end of October, again at the Heidelberg Dojo. If you would like to be included on the mailing list, let me know. This invite is open to everyone. You don't have to be a past White Heron student to attend.

For those who attended, following is a photo of the whiteboard with the chicken scratchings of everything I had hoped to cover. :) Yes, it was crazy agressive. On request, next month sai will be the weapon of choice.
