Renshi Dave Hoover

Sensei Dave Hoover is a passionate martial artist with decades of dedicated training. He trains as much as he teaches. He holds a fifth degree blackbelt in Goju-ryu Karate, a third degree blackbelt in Kobudo, traditional weapons, and a Level Three Teaching Certificate in Tai Chi and Niei Chi. He is shodan in White Crane and Jodo. He is also a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and also studies Koryu Uchinadi Karate.

Dave has had the incredible good fortune to train under a number of incredible teachers. He studies Goju-ryu under Hanshi Montalvo, White Crane under Hanshi Legacy, Koryu Uchinadi under Sensei Coombs, and has studied Iaido and Jodo under Kim Taylor Sensei. Dave's latest passion is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, where he activly studies under Professor Gabriel Araujo and Professor Vincente Guidoreni.

Dave lifts, he runs, he reads profusely, and writes when the spirit moves him.
